PARAMARIBO – Sunaina Jagroep is Miss India Suriname 2010. The beautiful 18 year old was crowned on Saturday October 23rd in the ballroom of the Chamber of Commerce headquarters in Paramaribo, at the end the Miss India pageant organized by the SurIndia Glamour organization

Jagroep also swept the Miss Performance title. Her win takes her to Dubai in April 7th 2011, where she will be representing Suriname in the Miss India World Wide 2011.

First runner up during last Saturday’s even t is Shalinie Dwarka, who also won the Miss Heart title. Sheila Kromodrono finished as second runner up; she won Miss Symphatica as well.

President Desi Bouterse and his wife Ingrid Bouterse- Waldring were among the many attendees at the event. The first couple congratulated the winning misses. The Miss India Suriname is now in its fifth year.
