UTRECHT, The Netherlands--Suriname Airways (SLM), tourism organization METS Travel and Tours and Residence Inn Hotels have announced a 3=2 vacation package, available at the Vacation Fair which opens on January 12th in Utrecht, The Netherlands.

“Buy three tickets and only pay for two. This special is temporary and there are only limited seats available,” the companies announced on the website of Dutch tourism journalists and PR people. The package includes a METS Jungle tour, hotel stay and a return ticket. “This is unique opportunity to visit Suriname, experience nature and be pampered at a stylish hotel,” they advertised.

The Vacation Fair is held at the indoor Fair Grounds in Utrecht and attracts thousands of people annually. Suriname, this year at stand D44 in Hall 1, is present every year to promote its tourism product. “If you’re adventurous, indulge in a jungle trip in the inlands with METS. But if you’re a tourist who values a luxury and comfort, your wishes are demands at the stylish Residence Inn Hotel, located on the outskirts of Paramaribo with a view of the Suriname River,” the statement said.

It hinted that Suriname has invested heavily in its tourism infrastructure in recent years, with new hotels, restaurants and guesthouses popping up all over the country. Paramaribo nightlife is dynamic; the town features many restaurants, discos and casino’s, open till late to ensure good fun. “National airline SLM arranged smooth flights, so your vacation actually starts once you embark the Airbus A340-300.”
